Brian Staley
Project Foreman
I grew up in San Anselmo and graduated from Sir Francis Drake High School in 1981. My wife and I, who love to spend time in West Marin, moved out to Woodacre in 1987. A few years later in 1991 we were fortunate enough to manage to purchase our first home in Woodacre which we rebuilt in 2004.

I have been a Planner/Designer/Builder for 30 years in Marin County. My areas of expertise in the field of construction are envelope efficiency and sustainable design. As part of my career experience I have become very familiar with all State and County codes as they pertain to building, planning, habitat, land management, waste and it’s treatment, and zoning. I also regularly update my knowledge with courses on the latest and most efficient technologies and methods.
Specifically I have 25 years of experience in all aspects of Residential Construction and Light Commercial remodeling. My focus has always been on quality and timely project completion. In particular I have specialized in unique framing, complex foundation systems and the use of shotcrete, however I have also performed a great deal of fine finish work as well. I have had extensive experience as a Draftsman/Designer, Project Manager, Estimator and Project Supervisor/Foreman. Many of my positions required me to be a Hands-on Bags-on Construction Foreman/Supervisor.
My off-time activities include environmental activism, serving as chairman of the San Geronimo Valley Planning Group, working with the Sierra Club, SPAWN, the Environmental Action Committee of West Marin, and others to maintain the rural character of my community and healthy ecosystems for future generations.
